“Winsights has been a valuable resource for me for many years now. Jim is able to gather great executive members and “thought starters” every time. The cadence of the meetings and the level of networking are just right for me. His Strategic Leadership Day is my favorite day of the year in terms of key takeaways for my business! Most importantly, I have developed many strong relationships.”

“As a new CEO at a high growth family owned tech company, I continue to benefit from my involvement in the Winsights Network led by Jim Hartfiel. The group allows me to network with leaders that are running organizations and teams similar in size. This group of leaders has helped me maneuver through both large and small issues at my own organization by discussing top of mind issues and challenges. Additionally, value added speakers allow me to get out of my day to day mindset and discover what is ahead. I couldn’t have done it over the past three years without Winsights.”
Robert T. Gag – Tierney
When I was serving as President of a $1 Billion+ business, I was contacted by a networking group about joining. I was explained the value of having a peer group to assist me in my role but my answer was simply “I just don’t have the time to commit to a regular peer group meeting.” I suspect many executives answer the same way because time is the one commodity that you never have enough of when leading an organization. Now in retrospect, I realize I made an error. I ended up wasting more time working through issues on my own that I now know could have been helped by a peer group. I’m confident that most of the big issues I wrestled with were not new and someone in a peer group would likely have dealt with the very same issues that were slowing me down. I’m certain I would have also received some sage advice on ways to navigate most, if not all, of the business challenges I came across. My advice now would be to definitely make time to join and participate in a peer group. I guarantee you’ll get loads of great support and you’ll likely help someone else along the way.
